The Halle Cultural Arts Center has put out a call for art. The show will run during the Apex Jazz Festival and has chosen the theme All that Jazz. The juror will be local North Carolina artist Eric McRay whose work takes the viewer through colorful coastal scenery, abstract imagery and a large collection of jazzy/blues paintings which inspire movement and a rhythmic tapping of the feet.
The deadline for the All that Jazz art submission is Saturday, August 25 (9am-1pm).
Exhibit dates: August 31-October 5, 2012Reception: August 31, 6-8 pm
